it’s been taking me too long to post updates! it’s mostly laziness, plus new job and the summer heat. things are very good though, and we have been running around getting into all sorts of fun and trouble. here are some photos from the last few weeks, they can be explained as follows:

1. this is a small cat! my friend jordan found him on the street, sadly, his little sister died a few weeks later. it’s kitty season!
2. volcom x source screenprinting workshop this weekend, sammy bib made me this great print, which i forgot to take home.
3. buster recently got spayed, and he was really grumpy. we put this outfit on meow to cheer him up. we think it worked!!
4. tea sanctuary in hangzhou – john and i took a very lovely little weekend excursion to the tea fields, it was very nice.
5. PRIMO! i interviewed DJ PREMIER a couple weeks ago for the NikeSportswear.com site. go have a peep at my photos + words.

just coming off the dragon boat festival, have so many photos to post. above are from two nights with King Khan + the BBQ Show, pre-party at free souls for tooooo many whiskey gingerales, and then the actual show which was mad mad mad. heard that the beijing show didn’t go well, but shanghai’s was pretty nutso.

YES, it’s been a long time. thanks for all your snotty little comments reminding me time and again to update this silly thing.

as you can see, there has been ALOT of activity over the last month or so. we did a bit of traveling – john and i went to korea and ate kimchi every meal for three days straight (the second photo is a shop in seoul that shares my korean name, heehee). we also went to zhujiajiao for a short overnight trip and a little zone friendly relaxation.

photographer todd selby (of THE SELBY) was in town last week shooting a louis vuitton something or other, so there were drinks and merrymaking at el coctel along with his reps from BA. was also good to see our friends from MISHKANYC in town, even though it was a short visit. finally, last week, i went to the first CSL shanghai match of the season, check out the insane police presence! i don’t think the game itself needed all that security, most likely just a prep for the expo.

i’m crazy busy at work, so this post is especially boring. STILL, here it is. this weekend i’m looking forward to eating, go-karting, karaoke’ing, rabble rousing. eeeeeeeeeh!

back in shanghai and wishing i was still on the slopes in austria. we have been sleeping insane hours since arriving back in the PRC, i came down with a nasty jet lag flu the first day and am still coughing and feeling blech. still, so much going on this week – ADRIAN and i are dj’ing at shelter on thursday for our first TEENAGE KICKS in the year of the tiger, and friday and saturday are booked up with a bachelorette party and going away party, respectively.

also, CITYWEEKEND has a feature on me in their latest issue, go laugh at it if you can find a copy. excuse the ridiculous picture, eeps.

photos from the ANDREW BIRD show at dream factory. frankly, not one of the best shows I’ve been to, mostly due to the crappy sound situation at dream factory, as well as the general layout of the venue. when that place gets packed, it’s a miserable time, anyone not standing within a couple feet of the stage can’t see anything except for the tall assholes in front of them, which leads to alot of chatter and general sounds of revelry from the back. still, i had a good time, i stood on the wings of the stage for a while and he really is a great performer, as well as an excellent whistler. yay!
