a quick update, i haven’t written in a while and have been rushing around like a crazy person. john and i have been away from the middle kingdom for 11 days, i have sat in 6 airplanes and slept in 5 different beds. by the end of this trip, it will be 10 airplanes, 7 beds, and once we’re back in china we’ll need another little mini holiday to make up for all this ridiculous traveling.

last week we were in providence, rhode island, where we hung out with john’s family & spent time walking around beaches and breathing in clean air. now i’m in north carolina, fresh from a wedding weekend in one of the prettiest places in the world where we danced and ate and i met all of john’s college buddies who, at the end of the wedding reception, all huddled together and threw the groom up in the air.
